OUR PLEDGE
Safari Should Leave Africa
Better Than We Found It
WHY IT MATTERS
Tourism is East Africa's most powerful conservation tool — when done right
The communities that live alongside wildlife are its greatest protectors. When a family's livelihood depends on a healthy ecosystem, every mother becomes a conservationist. That is what Zuraya is built around.
Every journey includes a contribution to the communities and conservation projects that make that journey possible. It is not a surcharge. It is simply how we do business.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Four Pillars of Responsible Travel
🦏
01
Anti-Poaching Support
A percentage of every Zuraya booking goes directly to anti-poaching units operating in Kenya and Uganda. We support ranger salaries, equipment, and community informant networks.
📚
02
Community Education
We fund two primary schools in the Masai Mara buffer zone and a ranger training programme in Bwindi. Education is the longest-lasting form of conservation.
🌍
03
Carbon Responsibility
Every Zuraya itinerary is assessed for its carbon footprint. We offset 120% of journey emissions through verified reforestation projects in East Africa.
🐘
04
Wildlife Corridors
We actively support wildlife corridor projects that allow animal movement between protected areas — critical for genetic diversity and long-term species survival.
