DAY BY DAY
Your Itinerary
Fly Into the Serengeti — Arrival Game Drive
Fly from Arusha (or Nairobi via connection) to the Serengeti's central corridor. Your guide meets you at the airstrip and your first game drive begins within minutes of landing. The Seronera Valley offers year-round wildlife — lions, leopards, and the kopje-dotted plains.
Full Day Serengeti — The Plains in Full
Two game drives — dawn and dusk — separated by a full midday break and lunch at camp. The Serengeti rewards patience. Your guide knows the predator territories, the migration routes, and the places others do not go. An evening briefing prepares you for the 4 AM wake-up tomorrow.
The Balloon Day — 4 AM, and Worth Every Second
You wake before the Serengeti does. By 5 AM you are watching the balloon inflate in torchlight. By 5:30 AM you are rising above the plains as the sun appears. For one hour, the Serengeti is entirely below you — herds, rivers, predators and prey, all moving in the morning light you now own. Landing is followed by champagne in the bush. The rest of the day is a game drive — though nothing will quite match what you saw this morning.
Final Morning Drive — Then Farewell
One last morning game drive before your flight back to Arusha or Nairobi. The Serengeti does not allow easy goodbyes.
